March Break is approaching quickly which means the kids are off school for a week. It can be hard to decide what to do with your kids while they are off, as the weather can sometimes be unpredictable in Ontario. 
 
To help you out and provide some ideas, here is a list of five fun March Break activities that you and your family can enjoy this break from the Mitchell Saldanha Real Estate Team: 

1. TORONTO ZOO

The Toronto Zoo is sure to be a favourite day out for anyone this March Break. You can discover over 4,000 animals while exploring 10 km of walking trails and tropical pavilions. From Saturday March 12, 2022 until Sunday March 20, 2022 you can participate in #SpotTheStripes. While exploring the Zoo keep a look out for the new tiger mascot “Teo”, and the Amur or Sumatran tigers. Take a picture and post on social media using the hashtag #SpotTheStripes and you could win a wild encounter or tiger-themed retail prize pack!

 

There are a variety of activities to enjoy at the zoo, including the daily keeper talks, which happen at different times of the day with animals and their keepers, terra lumina, wild encounters, and  zoo expeditionz. 

 
2. TOYS R US MARCH BREAK

Head to Toys R Us during this March Break to enjoy some books and activities with your kids. There are a variety of Toy R Us’ across Ontario, which are offering different events and activities throughout March Break for your kids to enjoy:

 

March 13 – Dough Sculpting Party and Storytime

March 14 – Mattel Scavenger Hunt, Pictionary and Magic 8 Ball Q&A

March 15 – Storytime and Battle of the Beyblades

March 16 – Dough Sculpting Party and Battle of the Beyblades

March 17 – Mattel Scavenger Hunt, Pictionary and Magic 8 Ball Q&A

3. MARCH BREAK IN BLUE MOUNTAIN VILLAGE

Looking for a little getaway this spring break? Why not head to Blue Mountain Village to enjoy some fun and exciting activities for the entire family? Enjoy Bamtastic drumming, Birds of Prey shows, interactive groove moves, fireworks, magic shows, live music, and much more. Check out the complete schedule for March Break here.

 

While you are there, you can even enjoy all of the other activities which are available at Blue Mountain year-round, including downhill skiing, crock-a-doodle, the spa in blue mountain village, pond skating, and other winter activities (which may be weather dependent).

 

4. RIPLEY’S AQUARIUM OF CANADA

Enjoy a fun-filled day at the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada in Toronto. This is one of several locations of this aquarium in North America, where you can immerse yourself in an underwater world of over 20,000 aquatic animals. 

 

You can experience many different animals, including horseshoe crabs, sharks, scarlet cleaner shrimps, and stingrays. Don’t forget to book your tickets online before going to avoid disappointment. 

 

 

5. ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

 

Don’t forget to enjoy Toronto’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade this March Break. The Annual Parade will take place on Sunday March 20, 2022 at 12:00pm, beginning on the corner of St. George and Bloor Street West and finishing at Nathan Phillips Square.
